A TREGARON man is having to pay fines totalling £279 after pleading guilty to cocaine and cannabis possession.
Ross Stewart, aged 27, of 27 Maesamlwg, admitted both charges when his case came before Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Court.
He was fined £80 for possessing 25.9 grams of cannabis and ordered to pay a victim’s surcharge of £34 along with £85 prosecution costs.
Stewart also received an £80 fine for possessing 1.15 grams of cocaine. Both offences were said to have been committed in Tregaron on May 2, 2020.
The court made an order for the seized drugs to be destroyed.
