A LLANDYSUL driver has been remanded on conditional bail after admitting to two charges of drug-driving.

Elizabeth Knott, of Parc Meiros, Drefach Velindre, Llandysul, pleaded guilty at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court to driving at John Street, Carmarthen on February 15 last year when the proportion of benzoylecgonine measured 692 microgrammes per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50 microgrammes.

Knott also admitted to driving at the same time when the measurement of cocaine in her blood was 17 microgrammes per litre. The legal limit is 10 microgrammes.

The 38-year-old had previously denied both charges.

Magistrates remanded her on conditional bail to appear before the court on February 24.
