A MODEL of the Cardigan’s former railway station could soon be on permanent display in the town.

The Cardi Bach museum wish to relocate a model of the old Cardigan Railway station and Cllr John Adams-Lewis told February’s meeting of the town council that renovation work on it had been completed and it was ready to be moved.

“The station closed back in 1964 and this was made by someone from Cilgerran and is part of the town’s history,” said Cllr Adams-Lewis.

The model is nearly two-and-a-half-metres long and a metre wide and the council is to contact the castle to see if it could display it.
