AN upgraded flood warning has been issued for the Teifi Valley as Storm Christoph continues to batter the area with torrential rain and strong winds.
National Resources Wales has issued a flood warning for the Llanybydder area.
The warning covers the caravan site, property in Station Terrace, Bridge Street, Highmead Terrace and the Highmead Arms Hotel
The heavy rainfall is forecast to continue until at least 9pm tonight (Wednesday, January 20) and levels on the River Teifi are expected to continue to rise.
Households along the length of the river are on flood alert, along with mid-Ceredigion and north Pembrokeshire.
Police have appealed to drivers to slow down and take care, with many roads in the Tivyside area flooded and vehicles aquaplaning in the awful conditions.
