AN Aberporth motorist who only had a provisional licence was caught driving when not accompanied by a qualified passenger.
Timothy James Bowling, of Clos y Fferm, Aberporth, was at the wheel of a car at Brynglas, Aberporth, on October 12 driving on a provisional licence without proper supervision and with no ‘L’ plates displayed on the vehicle.
The 46-year-old pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court and was fined £146 with £90 prosecution costs and a £34 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
