A LLANDYSUL motorist has been banned from driving and electronically tagged as part of a community order.
Patrick David Shon Byrne, of Talgarreg, Llandysul, pleaded guilty to when suspected of having driven a vehicle failed to provide a specimen of blood for laboratory analysis without reasonable excuse to do so at Haverfordwest on August 31.
The 47-year -old had originally denied the charge but changed his plea to guilty when he appeared before Pembrokeshire magistrates at Haverfordwest.
Byrne was banned from driving for 18 months and must serve a community order with a three-month curfew. He will be electronically tagged and must not leave his place of residence between 7pm and 7am.
As part of a rehabilitation activity requirement, Byrne must also attend appointments and take part in activities up to a maximum of 25 days.
