Tesco is staging a three-day collection for Cardigan Foodbank
CARDIGAN’S Tesco store will be taking part in the supermarket’s national food collection scheme which runs for three days from tomorrow (November 19) until Saturday (November 21).
The supermarket is working in partnership with the Trussell Trust and all food donated will go to Cardigan Foodbank ahead of an anticipated surge in demand for the Christmas period.
Shoppers are being asked to be as generous as possible with donaations of staple goods to help local families and Tesco will also add an extra 20 per cent in cash.
