A FLOOD warning has today (Saturday, November 14) been issued for the tidal area of the River Teifi at Cardigan.
The amber alert from Natural Resources Wales is warning of properties being flooded adjacent to the river between Cardigan Bridge and the A487 road bridge, including The Strand, St Mary Street, Gloster Row, Pwllhai. Also the former supermarket car park and adjacent properties
The NRW warning says: "This Flood Warning is for the high tides on Saturday the 14th November and Sunday 15th November.
"There is uncertainty in the forecast, so we advise properties owners monitor the situation carefully and install flood protection measures if this is appropriate. Car parking in this area around the periods of high tide should be considered carefully. "
Yellow flood alerts to be prepared for flooding are also in force for the whole of the Ceredigion coastline.
