A SHEFFIELD man caught drug driving in Cardigan has been banned from the road for a year.
Kevin James Brownhill, of Palm Lane, Sheffield, was caught driving an Audi A3 on the B4548 at Cardigan on April 27.
A drug test showed he had 2.1 microgrammes of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (cannabis) in a litre of blood. The legal limit is two microgrammes.
The 29-year-old pleaded guilty at Aberystwyth Justice Centre to driving when the proportion of a controlled drug exceeded the specified limit.
Magistrates banned the 39-year-old for 12 months, along with a £300 fine, prosecution costs of £85 and a £32 victim surcharge.
