QUAY West holiday park – part of the Haven Holidays group - at New Quay will close its gate at noon on Friday in response to the Welsh Governments two-week coronavirus lockdown.

In common with all other holiday companies, visitors will not be allowed during the fire-break period which begins at 6pm on Friday.

A statement from the company said: “It’s with a very heavy heart that following the decision by the Welsh Government for a two-week firebreak, we will be closing our Welsh parks from 6pm on Friday, October 23 up to and including Sunday, November 8.

“Please depart your holiday home by midday on Friday, October 23. If you have private letting guests in your holiday home, your guests must vacate your holiday home and the park by 10am.

“We will be closed for all holidaymakers (Haven and private letting guests) at our Welsh parks up to and including Sunday, November 8. If you were due to have private letting guests to arrive during this time, please make them aware that they are unable to go to the park.

“We hope you are all safe and well, and look forward to the time when we can welcome you back yet again.”
