STAFF and volunteers at Jig-So Children’s Centre at Cardigan have continued supporting local children and families throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
They have come up with some innovative ideas and adapted services to meet needs, delivering activities, interactive videos, "school ready" sessions, story time and information sharing virtually.
Added to this, they have also posted out regular themed activity packs to local children. They have also facilitated a number of groups virtually from its new, rented premises in the previous Ashleigh Surgery.
One of several initiatives which they have supported was a Virtual Children's Horticultural Show. Teifi Fun'd Raisers generously sponsored the prizes, with all participants receiving a certificate.
There were three categories for a parent/guardian with a first prize of a family photo shoot with local Rubies Photography - thanks again to the Teifi Fun'd Raisers and Ruby Whithouse.
