NEWCASTLE Emlyn-based rural broadband specialist DyfedIT has taken over the management and support of the Ultrafast Pembs WiFi Fibre and Wireless Network.

DyfedIT was the logical choice to take over Pembs WiFi thanks to their credentials in delivering high speed rural broadband, having recently completed similar projects in Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire, Powys and Pembrokeshire.

Dyfed Superfast managing director Gareth Robinson said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to expand service delivery and build on the great work done by the founders of Pembs WiFi.

“We are committed to delivering Gigabit Fibre services to rural Wales and we intend to start expanding the Pembs WiFi network in the coming months by delivering full Gigabit Fibre and WiFi services to Pembrokeshire.

“Our extensive fibre duct network around Withybush allows us to deliver Gigabit connectivity to the business park residents and we have over 25 Gigabit connected FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) customers already connected with more to come in the very near future.

“If you're having problems with slow broadband then we can help."

Pembs WiFi, set up by technical experts Nat Morris and Neil Angell to deliver high speed internet services to Pembrokeshire, said: “Given we both live in Castlemorris and work from home ourselves we wanted to ensure the network will be taken over by a professional broadband provider we can trust, especially given we will both now be customers ourselves.

“In all our dealings with Dean, Gareth and their team at DyfedIT we feel assured they will look after the customers and invest in the network.”

DyfedIT is an approved broadband provider on both the Welsh and UK Gov Gigabit Rural Network Voucher programs. Contact 01239 545033 or info@dyfedit.co.uk
