A LLANYBYDDER man has been issued with a restraining order after admitting assault.
Michael Jones, aged 60, pleaded guilty to assaulting another man by beating at Llanwnen on April 19 when he appeared at Aberystwyth Justice Centre on August 5.
Magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge and issued a similar length restraining order prohibiting Jones from contacting directly or indirectly his victim. Jones must also pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £22 victim surcharge.
