A CARDIGAN man who is alleged to have assaulted a police officer failed to appear in court to answer bail and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Sebastian Luke Williams, of Felin Ban, Vcardigan, is alleged to have assaulted by beating the officer in town on July 13.
It is also alleged the 33-year-old damaged a police vehicle, which needed cleaning of the defendant’s blood and spittle.
Magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre issued an arrest warrant without bail for Williams. No plea has yet been entered.
