A BUNGALOW and workshop planning application previously deferred by Ceredigion council planners has been withdrawn for more information.
Members of development control were told at a meeting on July 22 that further clarification and information was being provided regarding a plan for a bungalow at Capel Tygwydd.
Local member Cllr Lyndon Lloyd had requested the committee decide the application near Cardigan, which is recommended for refusal by planning officers.
The application is on land adjacent to Ty Alaw, Ponthirwaun which could be considered as “infill” between the applicant’s current house Ty Alaw and their neighbours.
In a report to development control Cllr Lloyd’s reasons for requesting committee consideration include affordable housing need being met, good access, use of infill rather than greenfield and that the bungalow is needed for retirement.
It had been discussed by Ceredigion County Council at January’s development control meeting where highway conditions were raised as a way of providing permission.
The latest report states that the applicant has not agreed to make highway improvements but allow the council to pay for works on their land.
