FOUR new sea front homes could be built in Aberporth if a recent planning application gets approval.

A full planning application has been submitted to Ceredigion County Council for four residential units on land at Garreg Wen with reconfigured access and parking.

The land is described as “residential brownfield land” in the application made by Jameson Estates Ltd.

It is proposed that the units will be covered with smooth painted render and grey cladding with a slate roof and grey UVPc windows.

The plans indicate three units, two storey houses and two flats, all with three bedrooms including one en suite, sun rooms and balconies. The larger houses include a study and utility room.

Solar panels, bat boxes and swallow nest boxes also feature in the plans.

A response from Dwr Cymru accompanies the application and includes conditions relating to surface water and drainage connecting to the sewerage network and the potential for an application to connect to the public sewer being required.
