A LLANYBYDDER man has admitted breaching the terms of a community service requirement of a suspended sentence order when he appeared at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.

Carwyn Pugh James, aged 39, admitted failing to attend two unpaid work appointments in January and March, failing to attend a probation service appointment and failing to keep in contact with his supervising officer without reasonable excuse.

The community service element was part of an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months imposed by Aberystwyth magistrates in June last year.

Magistrates extended the suspended element of the sentence to 14 months to enable the remainder of the unpaid work to be completed and ordered James to pay £60 costs.
