Rose Florence from Maesyfelin Care Home, Drefach, celebrating her birthday at the age of 102 years old
A CEREDIGION resident has celebrated her 102nd birthday.
Rose Florence is a resident in Maesyfelin Care Home, Drefach, Llanybydder and reached the remarkable milestone recently.
Unfortunately, she was unable to celebrate with her family due to the coronavirus restrictions.
She received many greetings and several bouquets of flowers, and although it was not possible to arrange a visit on behalf of the county council, flowers were sent by the local member, Cllr Euros Davies.
She also received congratulations from county council chairman Cllr Gareth Davies.
Rose’s birthday was an important occasion for the care home in Drefach, as she is the second resident in the home this year to celebrate a 100th birthday or older.
