A LLANDYSUL man who failed to reveal to police the identity of a driver alleged to have been guilty of an offence has been hit with a fine and costs of more than £800 plus points on his licence.
Anthony Gareth Hughes, of Llyn y Fran, Llandysul, had the case against him proved in his absence under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.
The 54-year-old was fined £660, along with £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
A further charge of driving a car while not wearing a seatbelt on the A484 at Saron, Llandysul, on December 20 was withdrawn.
