A SWANSEA van driving caught speeding at Newcastle Emlyn must pay more than £500 in a fine and costs.
Adrian Peter Guard, of Pen y Wern Road, Clydach, Swansea, found the charge against him proved in his absence under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.
The 54-year-old was caught driving a Vauxhall Movano at 43mph in a 30mph limit on the A484 Cardigan Road at Newcastle Emlyn on November 7.
Magistrates fined him £440, with £85 costs and a £44 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with four penalty points.
