AN ELDERLY woman who was a pedestrian involved in a crash with a car in Bournemouth has died three months after the collision.
As reported, the 97-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries in the incident in Belle Vue Road, Southbourne, at 12.30pm on Sunday, November 10 last year.
The crash involved a black Toyota Yaris, being driven by a local man aged in his 80s, and the female pedestrian.
The local woman was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries. She died on Tuesday, February 18, 2020.
Inspector Joe Pardey, of the traffic unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the woman’s family at this difficult time.
“We are continuing to investigate this collision so we can establish the full circumstances of what happened.”
Police previously appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
