A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and later bailed, following an incident in Cardigan yesterday afternoon (Thursday, February 6).
Another man sustained a cut to the face but did not require hospital treatment.
Officers from Dyfed-Powys Police, including firearms officers and a police dog unit, were called to the High Street area at around 1pm.
The suspect was apprehended by 1.30pm.
House-to-house enquiries were conducted in the area yesterday afternoon, but anyone who witnessed the incident but is yet to speak to police should call 101.
