A CARDIGAN man who stole a bottle of booze from a store has been given a conditional discharge.
William McPhearson, of St Mary Street, Cardigan, pleaded guilty at Aberystwyth Justice Centre to stealing a bottle of Vodka Schnapps from Home Bargains at Aberystwyth on November 12.
As well as a six-month conditional discharge, the 36-year-old was ordered to pay £5.49 compensation, along with costs of £85 and a £21 victim surcharge.
