TWO men found guilty of failing to reveal to police the identity of a driver suspected of an offence have been fined and their licences endorsed.
Clive Anthony Walton, aged 48, of Cwm Halen, New Quay, and Darren Malcolm Walton, aged 50, of Cross Inn, Llandysul, both denied the offence when they appeared before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.
Magistrates found them guilty and both men were fined £270, along with £370 costs each and a £30 victim surcharge. Both licences were endorsed with six penalty points.
A charge against both men of failing to wear a seat belt while driving a Ford Transit on the B4342 at New Quay on May 15 last year was dismissed, with no evidence offered.
