A WOMAN was taken to hospital following a crash on the A35 Upton Bypass this morning.
Police were called to the incident on the eastbound carriageway at 7.42am.
The crash involved a moped and a Ford Fiesta.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said the rider of the moped was taken to hospital.
One lane of the carriageway remains closed.
The local authority has been requested to attend.
South Western Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 7.20am about a two-vehicle collision on the A35, Upton Bypass in Poole. Our land ambulance crews treated a female patient at the scene and took her to hospital for further care."
There are no details on the extent of the woman's injuries.
