A driver has been fined for not wearing a seatbelt
FAILING to wear a seatbelt while driving at New Quay has cost a Ceredigion motorist more than £300.
Wayne Christopher Shaw, of Llanarth, found the case against him proved under the single justice procedure. He was not wearing his seatbelt on the B4342 while driving a Mercedes Sprinter on July 17.
The 42-year-old was fined £220 at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court, along with costs of £85 and a £32 victim surcharge.
