A NEWCASTLE Emlyn mum of two has recently raised £165 for the NSPCC as part of the ‘Get Your Sparkle On’ campaign.

The fundraising initiative encouraged people to show their support for the children’s charity by organising sparkle-themed events and Pippa Ramsey was only too keen to help out.

Pippa, who works from home as a childminder, dressed up sparkly for the day and encouraged friends and family to support her.

“I have worked in childcare since 2012 and this is a really important charity to me and is very close to my heart,” said Pippa, who is also a volunteer on Newcastle Emlyn park committee and volunteers as an ASK ME ambassador in the fight against domestic violence.

“Every child always needs and should have someone to reach out to and the NSPCC ensures this happens.

“Through the event, I raised £165 which is enough for 55 children to ring Childline to get vital help and support they need and protection.”
