A PEDESTRIAN has died following a collision with a vehicle on the A487 road between Penparc and Penparc School today.
Police received a report of the incident at 7.30am this morning (December 13).
Fire and ambulance attended. Paramedics attempted to resuscitate the pedestrian but sadly, the 92-year-old man died at scene.
Road closures and diversions were in place from the A484 roundabout in Cardigan to allow police to fully investigate the scene. The road reopened at approximately 2.45pm.
The male driver of the car involved has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.
