A BALD tyre has cost a Llandysul driver almost £300.
Thomas Jones, of Penrhiwllan, Llandysul, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Astra on the A475 at Penrhiwllan on October 13 when the cord was exposed on the nearside tyre.
The 20-year-old pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court and was fined £178, along with £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge. Three penalty points were added to his licence.
