THE FERRY Inn at St Dogmaels is celebrating after earning the Good Food Award for Gastro Pubs accolade for a second year running.

With some 53,651 Gastro Pubs within the UK, competition for our Good Food Award for Gastro Pubs was unsurprisingly tough.

A record number of UK food premises brought a record number of entrants and winners. Some 10,277 votes were cast for the finalists by readers, customers and fans alike.

“We became proprietors of The Ferry Inn in Nov 2010, after running Pendre Art Gallery and Cafe in Cardigan for seven years, having made St. Dogmaels our home since 2001.

“During the last nine years, we have strived to build a business that we are proud of, in our beautiful location beside the River Teifi.

“We are delighted to have won this prestigious award for the second year running.”

Alongside this, The Ferry Inn has recently made it to the final of the Welsh Restaurant Awards 2020 and has been named as One of the Top 25 Most Dog-Friendly Restaurants in the UK (No.1 in Wales) by the Big 7 Travel Guide.
