THE future of who should organise the street stalls at Cardigan Fair has been called into question.
Cllr Clive Davies said Ceredigion County Council, which currently has responsibility, was looking to other organisations to possibly take over the running of that side of fair day in the town
“If we were to take it over there would be a lot of work involved,” said Cllr Davies at a meeting of the town council.
“Do we open it up to a third party such as the River and Food Festival? Would other groups be interested in tendering? The town council might not be interested but others might be. It’s just an idea.”
Cllr Catrin Miles added: “It there is money in it, why is if being offered to us?”
