A WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of a Cardigan woman who failed to appear in court to face two charges of benefit fraud.
Gemma Mullett, of Awel Yr Afon, Cardigan, failed to appear at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.
The 29-year-old has been charged with dishonestly failing to notify the local authority of a change of circumstances that would affect her entitlement to housing benefit between October 16, 2017 and August 13, 2018.
She faces a further similar charge relating to her entitlement to employment and support allowance between October 16, 2017 and August 21, 2018.
Magistrates issued a warrant for her arrest without bail.
