A LLECHRYD driver whose car had a bald tyre must pay more than £550 in a fine and costs.
Benjamin James Churchman, of Maesyderi, Llechryd, was stopped at High Street, Cilgerran on August 2 and found to have a bald rear near side tyre.
Llanelli Magistrates found the case against the 38-year-old proved and fined him £440, along with £85 costs and a £44 victim surcharge. His licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.
Magistrates also found him guilty of having no test certificate for the car but no separate penalty was imposed.
