A CARMARTHEN driver was twice caught speeding within a matter of weeks at Pencader and Newcastle Emlyn.
Robert Dean Richards, of RD Richards Ltd, Lammas Street, Carmarthen, was first clocked driving a Citroen Berlingo at 26mph in a 20mph zone outside Ysgol Gymunedol Cae'r Felin, Pencader, on May 9.
The 34-year-old was also caught on June 4 at the A484 Cardigan Road at Newcastle Emlyn where he was driving at 39mph in a 30mph zone.
Richards pleaded guilty to both charges under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.
He was fined £55 for each offence, along with costs of £85 and a £30 victim surcharge. Three penalty points were also added to his licence for each separate offence.
