LLECHRYD Cricket Club recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.
An evening of entertainment was organised by John Curran with more than 300 guests attending.
Peter Hazelby addressed the guests with the history of Llechryd Cricket Club, followed by awards, guest speaker Ceri Wyn Jones, a question and answer session with former England cricket star Simon Jones, an auction and the night ending with entertainment from Jo90 band and disco.
The juniors enjoyed a fun day with awards being presented. The junior section has more than 70 members aged between five and 15, with seven junior players representing Llechryd at county, regional and national levels within Wales.
Junior award winners were Dexter West, Ifan Wyn Jones, Thomas Cartwright, Thomas Lewis, John Griffiths and Dafydd Davies.
