A CARDIGAN man who failed to tell police the identity of a driver alleged to have been guilty of an offence faces a fine and costs of more than £800.
Peter Jones, of Y Winllan, Parcllyn, Cardigan, was found guilty of the charge under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court. A charge of speeding on the A475 at Penrhiwllan on March 28 was withdrawn.
Jones was fined £660, with £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge. Six penalty points were added to his driving licence.
