A MOTORIST who smashed into the back of another car has admitted driving without due care and attention.

Leanne Heulwen Jenkins, aged 24, of Llandyfriog, pleaded guilty to the charge at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.

The collision occurred on March 9 on the A484 Rhos to Newcastle Emlyn road, when Jenkins had been following another car in her Mini.

The vehicle in front had then slowed down and indicated to pull into a property but Jenkins ran into the back of it, causing it to mount the pavement and crash into a wall.

As a result of the collision slight injuries were sustained, both vehicles were damaged and the property wall was also damaged.

Jenkins was fined £80, along with £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge. She also had five penalty points added to her licence.
