A CARDIGAN woman must pay more than £300 after being caught speeding on the A48 at Carmarthen.
Sophie Winney, of Rhydyfelin, Cardigan, was found guilty under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court of driving a Vauxhall Astra at 83mph at Pensarn, Carmarthen, on March 15. The speed limit was 70mph
Magistrates fined the 25-year-old £220 and ordered her to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £30 victim surcharge, along with three penalty points on her driving licence.
