A DRUG-driver who was caught at Cross Inn, Llandysul, has been banned from the roads for two years.
Stephen John Bowers, of Talsarn, Lampeter, was driving a Vauxhall Movano on April 27 when he was caught. He tested positive for benzolecgonin, recording a reading of greater than 800 micrograms per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50 micrograms.
The 40-year-old pleaded guilty to drug-driving at Aberystwyth Justice Centre, where magistrates banned him for 24 months.
Bowers was also fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
