A HERMON woman is to stand trial after denying assaulting a police officer and a string of other offences.
Danielle Lydia Delores Simmons, aged 28, of Bromeini, Hermon, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court where she pleaded not guilty to assaulting the officer at Ponthenri on July 25.
She also denied on the same day assaulting another woman, assaulting a man, causing criminal damage to a van, using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause other persons the belief violence would be used and finally using threatening or disorderly behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
Simmons was remanded on conditional bail until October 10, when she will return to court to stand trial.
