A LLANDYSUL driver must pay fines and costs totalling more than £1,400 for a series of motoring offences.
Robert James Turner, of The Beeches, Llandysul was found guilty in his absence of three charges under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates Court.
The 37-year-old was found guilty of driving a Renault Traffic van with an expired licence on the A487 at Aberystwyth on April 27, for which he was fined £220,; driving without insurance, for which he was fined £660 plus six penalty points on his licence; and driving a vehicle with a defective handbrake for which he was fined £440.
Turner must also pay £85 costs and a £66 victim surcharge.
