A DRUG-driver from Pencader who tested positive for cocaine has been banned from the roads for 12 months and fined.
Rhodri Stephen Linseele, of Maescader, Pencader, was driving a VW Passat on the A486 at Maenygroes on April 12 when he was stopped. He tested positive for benzoylecgonine, with 220 micrograms per litre of blood. The legal limit is 50 micrograms.
As well as the year-long ban, magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre fined the 35-year-old £250, along with £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
