A 20-year-old Llandysul man has been banned from the roads for three years for drink-driving.
Karl Williams, of Gilwen Terrace, Felindre, Llandysul, was driving a VW Polo on the B4333 at Adpar on June 25 when he was stopped. He had 53 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
Williams pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol when he appeared at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.
As well as the 36-month ban, magistrates fined him £120, with £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
