A BLAENPORTH man has been fined and ordered to pay compensation after being found guilty of theft.
William Richard Lloyd, 42, had denied stealing a mirror at Llanrhystud, on October 27 last year but magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre found him guilty.
He was fined £120 and has to pay compensation of £50, along with costs of £400 and a £30 victim surcharge.
Lloyd had also denied stealing a diamond ring worth £500 and magistrates found him not guilty of that charge.
