A Cardigan man has pleaded guilty to theft
A CARDIGAN man who stole a purse and its contents has been given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay compensation.
Jamie Lee Parker, of Ridegeway, had originally denied taking the purse in Cardigan on October 11 last year.
But the 40-year-old changed his plea to guilty when he appeared again before magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre.
As well as the conditional discharge and £78 compensation, Parker was ordered to pay £200 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
