A CARDIGAN man who was found with drugs in the town was in breach of a conditional discharge for a previous offence.
Aled Swanick, of Rhos y Dre, Cardigan, pleaded guilty to possessing 21 grams of herbal cannabis and a spliff containing traces of herbal cannabis in the town on April 17. He also admitted possessing 0.4 grams of cannabis resin.
Magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre fined the 22-year-old £80, along with a further fine of £80 for breaching his previous conditional discharge, where he had been found guilty of possessing herbal cannabis.
Swanick was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge, while the drugs were ordered to be destroyed.
