A Cardigan speeder is facing a £408 court bill plus four penalty points on his licence after he admitted reaching 43mph in a 30mph zone.
Alwyn Llywellyn Roberts, of Station Road, was clocked by police breaking the limit while driving a Nissan Terrano on the A484 at Llechryd at 3.28pm on Wednesday, December 12.
The 61-year-old admitted the offence when his case was heard by Llanelli magistrates.
He was fined £293 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 legal surcharge.
