A husband and wife from Drefach Felindre have each been fined £500 for failing to control dogs barking at their property.
Mark Stuart Thomson and Julie Ann Thomson, both aged 55, appeared at Llanelli magistrates court on Tuesday, June 4, to deny charges of failing to comply with a noise abatement notice, issued by Carmarthenshire County Council on September 7, 2018, in relation to recurring noise nuisance caused by dogs barking on land associated with their home.
Following a trial, magistrates found both guilty of the offence.
In addition to their fines, they were also ordered to pay £1,065.13 each towards the costs of the prosecution plus a further £50 surcharge each.
