A driver has been banned from getting behind the wheel for 28 days after he was clocked at almost double the speed limit in a residential area.
Paul Nicholls, 51, was recorded reaching speeds of 58mph in a 30mph zone while driving a Jeep Commander at Ostrey Hill, St Clears, on March 7.
Nicholls admitted the offence.
In addition to the ban, Nicholls was fined £470 by Llanelli magistrates and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £47 victim surcharge.
