A MAN who was seriously injured in an alleged stabbing in Ceredigion nearly three months ago has died, police have said
Lewis Stone, aged 71, a retired butcher from the Burton on Trent area in Staffordshire, was walking his dog near the Borth Wildlife Kingdom when the incident occurred. He passed away this week.
A police statement said: “Dyfed-Powys Police can sadly confirm the death of Lewis Stone, following an incident in Borth on February 28, 2019.
“Our thoughts are with his family at this tragic time.”
David Kenneth Fleet, of Borth, is charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon, namely a knife. The police investigation is continuing.
